Zachary E. Buncy

 

Zachary Buncy was born in Buffalo, New York. He received his undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo in History and Philosophy, graduating magna cum laude in 2021. As a student, he competed with the undergraduate mock trial team all four years, including serving as coach his Senior year, in which he assisted in developing strategies and teaching mock trial to new members. He was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta. 

After graduating, he remained at the University at Buffalo for law school, where he received his Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude in 2024. While in law school, Zachary competed in both moot court and trial team, where he won the award for Best Non-Movant Memorandum at the Stetson Law National Pretrial Competition. The summer after his first year, he interned at the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo’s civil unit, where he assisted indigent clients in housing and matrimonial matters. The following summer, he began working as a Law Clerk at Harrington & Mahoney, where he continued full-time as an associate following his graduation from law school, pending his admission to the bar.
