Thomas J. Heubusch

Thomas Heubusch was born in Buffalo, New York. He received his undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo in 2016. He then attended the University at Buffalo School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude, in 2021. While in law school, Thomas competed as a member of the school’s trial team, receiving the Robert J. Connelly Award for excellence in trial advocacy. Thomas was also a finalist in University at Buffalo School of Law’s Desmond Moot Court Competition. Thomas began working for Harrington & Mahoney as a student law clerk in 2019, and continued as an attorney with the firm when he was admitted to the bar.

He is admitted to practice in all New York State courts and the federal court for the Western District of New York. Thomas is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Bar Association of Erie County, and the New York State Defenders Association. In addition to his private practice, he also handles criminal matters for the Assigned Counsel Program of Erie County.
