This is not the way to select counsel in a personal injury matter any more than it is a way to select criminal defense counsel. And the terms these attorneys advertise — like free consultations and contingent fee arrangements — are no different than what other, better-qualified attorneys routinely offer.

On rare occasions our office will handle a matter involving a civil matter or a claim for personal injury of some sort. Most often in such a case we will refer the case to an attorney we know to be superbly qualified to handle the case to completion. Don’t be surprised to find that their name is not familiar to you from expensive advertising. But do expect highly professional and highly competent attorneys able to get you the best possible result in your case.
